Each product has a story, ours quickly became a mission, a mission of three rugby coaches to make Cider in a country dominated by beer brewers.

Wolf & Fox Brewery is a brewers initiative located in Ghent, Belgium. The company focuses on brewed ciders and soft drinks. For this we aim to only use local produce and ingredients direct from the farm. In this way we can guarantee a high quality product.

The idea to found a cider brewery arose years ago when the Belgian fruit farmers raised the alarm that they weren’t able to sell tons of apples and pears due to a lack of export opportunities. After several tests with Belgian apple and pear varieties, we managed to make a high-quality cider and decided to commercialize it. We only work with local fruit farmers and greengrocers in order to use their expertise, vision, and contacts to work together - in exchange for a purchase of apple and pear stocks that would otherwise no longer be sold or even picked.

At the moment, this situation is still very challenging for Belgian growers and it does not look like it will be resolved any time soon. With every purchase of a product from us, you also help an apple farmer in Belgium.

The brewery presses the juice itself and does not work with juice concentrates. This creates more flavor in our products and we do not need to use flavor additives, added sugars and any yeast inhibitors. Our product is made as natural as possible, we do not support industrial production of our cider, but only brew low batches.

The founders of Wolf & Fox Brewery are based in Ghent, the city of creative ideas and the ideal test market for innovative products that come to life among the many local entrepreneurs.
